The Marin Bikes Rift Zone EL 1 is a lightweight trail eMTB built around the idea that electric assistance should enhance the ride—not overwhelm it. Part of Marin’s new “Electric Light” platform, the Rift Zone EL takes the proven Rift Zone trail chassis and pairs it with Bosch’s compact Performance Line SX system for a ride that feels playful, responsive, and unmistakably trail-first.

By combining a lightweight Bosch SX motor and internal CompactTube battery, the Rift Zone EL 1 delivers smooth, natural power that blends seamlessly with your pedaling input. It’s designed for riders who want the benefits of electric assist without the weight, bulk, or overpowered feel of traditional full-power eMTBs—making it ideal for technical trails, flow lines, and long rides where handling matters as much as range.
